Instructions
Grease Pan. With the 1 tablespoon of butter, grease a 13x9 inch pan and set it aside.
1 Tablespoon Salted Butter
Melt Butter & Marshmallows. In a large Dutch oven, heat the 6 tablespoons of butter over very low heat until melted. Add the plain marshmallows. Stir over low heat until marshmallows are melted completely.
Add Vanilla & Cereal. Stir in vanilla extract and gently fold in cereal. As the mixture comes together, stop stirring and allow the mixture to cool slightly about 4 to 5 minutes.
½ Teaspoon Vanilla Extract, 6 Cups Rice Krispies Cereal
Fold in Mini Marshmallows. Gently fold in the pastel colored mini marshmallows.
2 Cups Pastel Colored Mini Marshmallows
Spread in Pan. Spread and press the rice krispie treat mixture into the prepared pan.
Cut, Serve, Wrap. Cut the treats into squares or rectangles. Serve and Enjoy!Wrap well with plastic wrap to keep the treats fresh and chewy. If desired, place parchment paper between the treats to prevent sticking.

Make-Ahead & StorageWrap these Rice Krispies marshmallow treats in plastic wrap, and they will easily keep at room temperature for up to 3 days. This makes them a perfect make-ahead treat!
