Butter Pecan Rum Cake is rich like a pound cake and topped with pecans that toast as the cake bakes.
A simple rum glaze soaks into the bottom and the top for an over-the-top buttery rum taste.
• Chopped Pecans
• Cake Flour
• Instant Pudding
• Baking Powder
• Vanilla Extract
• Cold Water
Sprinkle chopped pecans into a greased and floured bundt pan.
Sift flour, sugar, pudding mix, and baking powder into a large bowl.
Add butter, eggs, vanilla, water, and rum...
...and beat for 5 minutes
Spoon the batter over the pecans in the pan.
Bake for 60 minutes... and make the Rum Butter Glaze.
Poke long holes in the cake and drizzle butter rum syrup over the cake.
Invert the cake onto a serving dish and spoon and brush more rum butter rum glaze over it.
